Sophie is an energetic and enthusiastic teacher and coach. She inspires and builds confidence in the rider so that they are able to get the best from their horse.
Sophie has trained with some of the most recognised professionals in the industry and is a great believer that training continuing throughout every rider’s journey; not every rider wants to compete at the Olympics but we all want to be a little better than we were yesterday!
Sophie spent time in Bermuda, Canada and the USA coaching and learning all about American style “hunters” and “equitation”; it was a very steep learning curve but one that taught her a huge amount about differing coaching and riding techniques and, most importantly, to appreciate the importance of an open mind when it comes to the training of our riders and their horses.
Ed Hobbs- BHS Stage 4 Senior Coach in Complete Horsemanship, UKCC L3
With attention to detail and ability to coach Ed give clear instruction in a progressive way. With confidence and the knowledge that he is able to draw upon from all aspects of horsemanship, he aims to give clients long lasting and positive results.
Ed is a regular instructor at Stockland Lovell and so knows the facilities and cross country course well.
Jo Rimmer -BSc hons PGCE- International 5* Event Rider. GBR Nations Cup Team. UKCCL 3 Coach
Jo is a professional teacher and so offers a unique combination of teaching riding and coaching expertise. Her clinics are alway fun and she manages to make everyone feel safe. Riders leave full on encouragement and with plenty to practice at home.
Moira Bonner - BHS Accredited Stage 4 Senior Teacher. Stage 3 Coach in Complete Horsemanship and BDCC Level 2 (dressage specific) recognised coach.
Moira has over 25 years of experience teaching riding in all disciplines, all ages and abilities. She is renowned for her patience with nervous riders or young, green horses. Moira has many clients who compete and enjoys helping them prepare for competitions and seeing the results.
Moira competes her horse, Chutney in affiliated dressage and is just about to move up to elementary level.
